Mustang Rescue & Care Center - Half day volunteer experience

Mustangs are important in the history of the USA, unfortunately they are often the victim and get abused and neglected. The rescue center gives these amazing animals a second chance at a good life often having to be rehabilitated both mentally and physically. Upon arrival, the guests will receive a guided tour of our rescue center with our host. The host will demonstrate basic horse care, reading body language, gentling, rehabilitation techniques, etc. Each guest will be assigned a rescue horse with whom they can interact one on one.
Under the host’s supervision, they will be allowed to apply the skills they have learned from the host’s demonstration. Through our Volunteering and experience programs we help the horses get a new and safe home. We are looking forward to your help with this great cause! Guests will have the unique opportunity to watch a horse paint and then buy the painting!
